A place where Bali comes alive.
A private villa retreat in the rice fields of Ubud — slow mornings, warm welcomes, full moons.
Fifteen minutes north of Ubud, a world away.
Built in 2018 by a small team of Balinese craftsmen and a Dutch architect, Widanivilla sits inside a working rice paddy. The fields shift colour with the seasons; the light changes by the hour.
Three suites, one swimming pool, two open pavilions, and a kitchen run by a chef who shops the morning market before sunrise. We name the rooms after what we see when the light slips down through the trees.
A few things we believe in.
Slow by design
No lobby, no piped-in music. Just birdsong, open pavilions and a garden that hums at dusk.
Rooted in Bali
Built by Balinese craftsmen with a Dutch architect, set inside a living, working rice paddy.
Cooked fresh daily
Our chef shops the morning market before sunrise — breakfast on the terrace, every day.
Truly private
Three suites for one party at a time. Book it all and the villa — and the staff — are yours.
